Suffolk police are searching for three suspects in connection to a February phone scam.
Police say a Quogue woman was told on a phone call that there was child pornography on her computer and that she had to purchase $10,000 in Home Depot gift cards to clear the device.
The woman bought the cards from Home Depot in Riverhead and gave the card information over the phone on Feb. 15.
Authorities say later that day, three people used the gift cards at Home Depot locations in Suffolk, Nassau, Queens and Kings counties.
Anyone with information on the identity of the suspects should call Suffolk County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
