Suffolk PD: Driver ran over man during road rage incident in West Babylon

Police say a man was run over and seriously injured during a road rage incident Saturday night in West Babylon.

They say the two men entered a parking lot on Route 109 just after 8 p.m. and began arguing.

One of the men reentered his vehicle and rammed into the other’s car three times.

He then ran over the 51-year-old victim and fled the scene, according to authorities.

Police say the man was hospitalized. His immediate condition was not detailed.

It wasn’t clear why the two were arguing.
