A bus driver with the William Floyd School District has been indicted for having child porn.
According to the Suffolk district attorney, state police received a tip that Guenther Mayrhofer, 71, of Mastic, had downloaded 20 images of child sexual abuse to cloud storage.
A search warrant was executed on his home, which uncovered more than 100 images and video of sex abuse on various devices.
Mayrhofer faces multiple counts of possessing sexual performance by a child and promoting sexual performance by a child.Mayrhofer is due back in court in October.
News 12 has been told he will no longer drive for the district.
