Suffolk DA: Man pleads guilty to strangling Dix Hills woman

The Suffolk district attorney says Darren Mansfield killed Frania
Espinal, of Dix Hills, in April of 2021.
Authorities had said the 23-year-old strangled Espinal, wrapped her body in tarp and
duct tape, and tried to get two people to help dispose of her body.
Mansfield is expected to receive 30 years in prison.
Mansfield is set to be sentenced in May.
