A Calverton lawyer is facing charges after prosecutors say he stole $25,000 from his client.
Suffolk’s district attorney says the money was being kept in escrow while a client of Peter Saad Jr.’s was selling a home.
However, instead of returning the cash, prosecutors say Saad spent it on himself.
Saad is due back in court next month.
