A kitten has a new home after Suffolk County police rescued her from a storm drain in Terryville Friday.

A kitten has a new home after Suffolk County police rescued her from a storm drain in Terryville Friday.
Police were called to Claymer Street around 6 p.m. as Tropical Storm Fay brought heavy rain and wind to the area.
An emergency service section officer was able to climb into the drain and get the kitten out.
A nearby residents then stepped up to give the cat a forever home.
