The Suffolk County Police Academy hosted a virtual graduation ceremony for its latest class of recruits.

The Suffolk County Police Academy hosted a virtual graduation ceremony for its latest class of recruits.
Each graduate completed 30 weeks of training at the academy and received more than 1,000 hours of instruction.
The class of 70 graduates includes 64 new officers and six trained for outside agencies like the sheriff's office and smaller police departments.
