Suffolk County officials are reporting that 17 different mosquito samples have tested positive for West Nile virus.

One of the samples was collected last week at the Blydenburgh County Park in Smithtown

The park will close at 6 p.m. until further notice.

The 16 other samples were found at various locations throughout Suffolk.
