Suffolk County Medical Examiner working to identify woman's body found in Long Island Sound off Lloyd Harbor

The Suffolk County Medical Examiner's office is currently working to identify the body of a woman spotted in the Long Island Sound off Lloyd Harbor last night.
Suffolk County police said officers responded to a 911 caller who reported the body floating in the water around 7:45 p.m. Investigators were able to recover and remove the body.
Officials have not yet identified the woman or said how she died.
Suffolk County police are asking anyone with information to contact Homicide Squad detectives at 631-852-
6392.
The investigation is ongoing.
