Suffolk County Executive Bellone says 'structural racism' to blame in Floyd killing, other incidents

  • Chief Stuart Cameron says the killing of George Floyd was disgusting and not  a by-the-book arrest: "Treat everyone with respect and value all human life."
  • Bellone: There have been an additional 87 cases of COVID-19 in last 24 hours.
  • There have been 27 COVID-19 patients discharged in last 24 hours. 
  • Bellone: 13 Suffolk residents died from COVID-19 in last 24 hours. The death toll stands at 1,892.
  • Bellone: Zagster will end bike sharing program in Suffolk County, will withdraw by June 12. It was originally launched as "Bethpage Ride."
