Suffolk County businesses, county & faith leaders raise $300,000 for Israeli Red Cross

The money will be used to purchase three emergency motorcycles to help provide first aid and other emergency services in Gaz and assist the Magen David Adom, which is the Israeli Red Cross Ambulance Corp in Israel.

Businesses, county and faith leaders presented a check to the Israeli Red Cross on Monday.
The money will be used to purchase three emergency motorcycles to help provide first aid and other emergency services in Gaz and assist the Magen David Adom, which is the Israeli Red Cross Ambulance Corp in Israel.
Richard Cohen, of Ashlind Properties, started the fundraiser. He says 35 of his friends and customers came together to raise the money.
The three emergency motorcycles are scheduled to be shipped in the next couple of weeks.
In total, Businesses in the Hauppauge Industrial Park community raised about $300,000 for the first aid motorcycles.
