2h agoSuffolk officials are trying to clean up an area in Brentwood.
The area is a homeless encampment and illegal dumping site, according to Suffolk County Executive Ed Romaine.
The site is located on Suffolk Avenue.
Romaine’s office tells News 12 they are working with Suffolk police and the Department of Social Services.
The people who were living there are being connected to housing and mental health services.
