Woman struck, killed by box truck at Eastport farm stand

Police say 78-year-old Judith DiLorenzo, of Queens, was standing in front of a farm stand on County Road 111 when the box truck hit her.

A woman was struck and killed by a box truck at a farm stand in Eastport.
Police say 78-year-old Judith DiLorenzo, of Queens, was standing in front of a farm stand on County Road 111 when the box truck hit her.
The incident happened around 3 p.m. Monday.
Police say the farm stand operator Brian Ringhoff and the stand were also hit.
DiLorenzo was taken to Peconic Bay Medical Center where she was pronounced dead.
Ringhoff and the truck driver both survived.
Anyone with more information about the crash is asked to call police.
