Two mobile coronavirus testing sites are now open for Town of Hempstead residents.
Officials say free antibody testing is available at Brierley Park in Hempstead and Island Park's village hall through Friday.
The move is part of the town's initiative with Northwell Health.
The program is designed to provide access to testing and information on the virus to prevent further spread.
"It's about avoiding a second round of this pandemic. It's about doing what's right, what's right for every community and resident and taking the lead and getting it done by collaboration and working together," says Town of Hempstead Supervisor Don Clavin.
Walk-ins are accepted, but registration is recommended.
