Some storms late Wednesday night and early Thursday morning caused some damage across Long Island.
The storms brought down tree branches on the North Shore, and on 7th Avenue in Lindenhurst – where a large branch was leaning on powerlines and a home.
Further east, a tree took down powerlines on Old Indian Head Road in Commack, between Vance Street and Jericho Turnpike.
In Glen Cove, a viewer sent News 12 a photo of a large tree that smashed a Camaro, a minivan and another car on Lattingtown Road.
