News 12 Storm Watch Meteorologist Sam Augeri says the rain will stop by daybreak Friday with warmer temperatures for the holiday weekend.

HEADLINES:

• Rain ends overnight from west to east with drier weather by daybreak.

• Breezy and dry for Friday. Overall pretty nice for Mets Home Opener.

• Nice for Easter weekend with sun and clouds and temperatures approaching 60 degrees on Sunday. There is the slight chance of a brief showers Saturday night.

• Seasonable next week with showers and breezy conditions returning Tuesday into Wednesday
