WHAT TO KNOW
There is a risk of showers for Monday evening coming down out of the north and rotating around an area of low pressure. Not everyone will get the rain, but there will be more clouds around for the early evening hours. Once the sky clears out, temperatures will get quite chilly and drop into the 40s.
After a chilly start on Tuesday, temperatures will rise into the mid-70s for the afternoon. Warmer temperature of 80 is on the way starting Wednesday. The second half of the week then really heats up. Summer officially starts on June 21, but this week will rival something the region would feel in July as temperatures soar into the upper 80s for a couple of days.
Not much rain will fall this week, but there is a chance to see more rain starting next weekend.
