News 12 Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Julian Seawright says a winter storm is expected to make a mess Monday night into Tuesday morning.

A coastal flood advisory is in place for southern Nassau County from Monday at 8 a.m. until 12 p.m.

OVERNIGHT: Decreasing clouds and chilly. Lows in the middle 30s.

MONDAY: A mix of sun and clouds, not as mild. Clouds will build in the evening with rain and wintry mix developing overnight. Highs in the middle 40s. Lows in the middle 30s.

TUESDAY: Wintry mix changing to snow and ending early in the afternoon with breezy winds. Highs will be in the middle to upper 30s. Lows in the upper 20s.

WEDNESDAY: Mostly sunny and cold. Highs in the middle 30s. Lows in the middle 20s.
