Stingrays spotted near Ocean Beach on Fire Island

Chopper 12 spotted hundreds of stingrays Thursday near Fire Island.
The stingrays were seen near Ocean Beach around 10 a.m.
News 12’s chopper pilot says they were probably around 1,000 feet from the shore, so they were not a threat to any swimmers.
