Talks between Yankees' Alex Rodriguez and Major League Baseball are at a standstill.
ESPN says A-Rod wants to make sure he's able to get some of the $100 million he's still owed, and both sides are said to be far from a deal regarding how many games A-Rod will be suspended from.
Without a deal, reports say that MLB would look to ban A-Rod for life.
The decision deadline has now been pushed to Monday.
Rodriguez is currently headed to Trenton, and will play rehab games with the Double-A Trenton Thunder tonight and tomorrow.
There is a longshot that he could rejoin the Yankees on Sunday.
