State police extend road closures in Farmingdale for the Ryder Cup
New York State Police said "the prestigious tournament is expected to attract tens of thousands of visitors, leading to increased traffic congestion, involving road closures and detours."

Ryder Cup affects parking in Farmingdale
19h agoRoad closures in Farmingdale are expanding today as both Team USA and Team Europe hit the course at Bethpage Black for practice ahead of the official start to the Ryder Cup later this week.
Round Swamp Road from Winding Road to Quaker Meeting House Road closed Monday at 9 a.m. and will remain closed until Monday, Sept. 29, at 6 a.m.

Quaker Meeting House Road is closed today and will have intermittent closures between now and Sunday, Sept. 28, daily, from 4:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Clubhouse Road from the Bethpage State Parkway is also closed today and will have on-and-off closures, except for ridesharing vehicles, from 5 a.m. until 8 p.m. daily.
