Staffing issues related to COVID-19 are forced at least three libraries on Long Island to close temporarily.
The Sayville, Freeport, and Brentwood libraries were closed Tuesday as officials reviewed their staffing schedules.
However, some services like curbside pickup were still be available.
Freeport Library will be closed through Jan. 9.
Sayville Library is planning to open at normal starting hours on Wednesday.
