Spring has sprung and so have baby animals at Muscoot Farm!

A Road Trip: Close to Home to play with animals? What could be better?!
Muscoot Farm in Katonah dates back to the 1800s and today you can learn all about that history, stroll along the hiking trails, and yes,, make some new furry friends.
“We consider this an educational farm,” says Jonathon Benjamin, Farm Manager, Muscoot Farm. “It’s really important to teach people the importance of agriculture and just the importance of being kind to animals.”
This farm has so many animals to learn about from the oldest on the farm like donkeys Felix and Oscar at 27 years old to the youngest on the farm like this baby goat that was just born this week. “To see all these people come here from all different places within the county and even beyond it’s just nice to see them be able to learn and just be able to see all these animals and nature,” says Benjamin.
And that’s not all, there are seven miles of hiking trails are yours to explore And appreciate nature around you.  “It’s very important especially in this day and age to be able to get out there and kind of remove yourself from all the hustle and bustle,” says Benjamin.
Muscoot also offers plenty of programs for kids to hop in a day in the life of a farmer and even a farmer's market for you to browse fresh goods each Sunday.
