Sunny days precede remnants of Zeta arriving Thursday

News 12 meteorologists are watching a storm for Thursday into Friday from remnants of Zeta.

The remnants of Tropical Cyclone Zeta are set to arrive on Long Island later this week, but first some sunny, seasonable days will be in store.
Tuesday will be partly sunny with increasing clouds at time. Highs will be in the low-60s. There is a chance for some showers at night. 
Wednesday is expected to be partly sunny with highs in the upper-50s.
Rain is expected Thursday, some of it heavy at times. Thursday evening will also have gusty winds, along with moderate to heavy rain, with a chance for some street flooding.

Friday will be cloudy and breezy with showers for the first part of the day. Later in the day, it will dry out and turn colder. There will be highs near 52 degrees but lows dipping into the mid-30s.
