The NYS Division of Homeland Security & Emergency Services sent specialized all-terrain vehicles to assist in search and rescue efforts Monday on Long Island.
The vehicle helped travelers stranded along Sunrise Highway, according to officials.
It was also used to transport a group of nurses to Stony Brook Hospital.
