A Queens man is facing 92 animal cruelty charges for allegedly keeping animals in deplorable conditions at a Manorville farm.
The Suffolk SPCA says photos show two of the six emaciated horses found at the farm. News 12 is told Marlon Alzate kept the horses, a dog and a variety of birds in filthy conditions.
Officials say the 29-year-old also had several roosters prepared for fighting. They also say the horses were near death to the point that two veterinarians had to come to the property and said if the horses weren't removed, they would not live.
Alzate is due in court next month to answer to the charges.
