Suspected Gilgo Beach serial killer Rex Heuermann is facing an additional murder charge, sources confirm to News 12.
According to sources, Heuermann will face the additional grand jury charge on Thursday.
This comes after last week’s six-day search of Heuermann’s Massapequa Park home.
Authorities had also been searching in Manorville and North Sea.
The remains of Gilgo Beach murder victims Valerie Mack and Jessica Taylor were found in Manorville 20 years ago. Sandra Costilla, whose murder remains unsolved, was found in North Sea in 1993.
Heuermann has not been charged in their deaths.
As News 12 has reported, Heuermann has been charged with murder in the killing of Maureen Brainard-Barnes, Melissa Barthelemy, Megan Waterman and Amber Costello, whose bodies were found buried along the remote Gilgo Beach parkway.
