A Somers woman with chronic kidney failure is hoping someone reading this right now can save her life.
Alice Dillon needs a kidney transplant.
The 53-year-old, who is originally from Long Island, had her first transplant about 14 years ago, but the kidney is no longer viable.
Donated kidneys usually last 10 to 15 years.
Dillon's mom and dad, who are in their 80s and 90s, live with her and take care of her.
They're not a match, but they're hoping someone who has blood type O-positive can save their daughter.
Those who wish to contact the Dillon family can reach them by email at mdillon897@aol.com.
