Some Long Islanders confused, others relieved by latest mask guidelines

Some Long Islanders are confused with the Center for Disease Control and Prevention's latest mask guidelines for fully vaccinated people.
So why the confusion? President Joe Biden and the CDC announced Thursday that fully vaccinated people can ditch the mask in most indoor settings. But here in New York, Gov. Andrew Cuomo has not adopted those new mask rules and is reviewing them.
The supervisor at Giunta's Meat Farms in Ronkonkoma says customers who come in without masks will not be given a hard time.
Some people say vaccinated or not vaccinated they're still going to be wearing their masks indoors.
"The only thing is, is everyone going to be truthful about being fully vaccinated?" asked Steve Young.
For places like the Hauppauge Palace Diner, the owner says he's waiting on direction from the state. Employees vaccinated or not will likely continue to wear masks -- but they're not going to be policing customers.
Meanwhile at Rubin's Barber Shop, they're also now not going to enforce mask-wearing.
