While some were able to retrieve their cars, others were not, including Sherri Friedman and her husband, who live in both Florida and Massachusetts.
The two say their car is parked on the fifth floor near the collapse.
"I have no idea how long I need to rent the vehicle for. I don't know if it's a day, a week, a month. I have no idea. They weren't even 100% sure if—even though the car is in good shape, that they can get the car out of the garage in one piece." said Friedman.
As of Monday, fire officials tell News 12 they do not have an update.
News 12 contacted City of White Plains multiple times and has not heard back.
