There was a big sendoff at Brady Park for the Massapequa International Little League 12U softball team who are headed to the eastern regional tournament.
The team won the New York championship for a second consecutive year and hopes to ride their winning ways to the Little League Softball World Series.
News 12’s Amy McGorry spoke with the team before they leave for Bristol, Connecticut Sunday afternoon.
If they win the double-elimination regional tournament – it’s off to North Carolina for the World Series in August.
