Calhoun High School social workers and psychologists are finding ways to help students reconnect after feeling isolated during the remote learning era.
Many high school students have not had a normal experience these past two years. That's why social workers and psychologists say they have had to adjust their strategies to help students.
Calhoun kicked off Cal-Connect in the spring and continued the program through the summer months. It combines verbal engagement and physical activity, all while teaching kids how to just be a student.
Leaders are hoping to grow the program and work with more students next year.
