Snowstorm prompts closure of Nassau County-run COVID-19 vaccine sites

The state-run sites at Stony Brook and Jones Beach Vaccination sites are open as of now.

The storm forced the cancellation of thousands of COVID-19 vaccine appointments in Nassau.
Nassau County canceled appointments Thursday and Friday at county-run sites. They have been rescheduled for next week.
Meanwhile, storm-related delays in vaccine shipments have canceled all first shot appointments Thursday at Suffolk County run vaccination sites. However, second dose appointments can still go on.
The state-run sites at Stony Brook and Jones Beach Vaccination sites remained open Thursday.
