Today, Suffolk police and the Town of Huntington are coming together for 'Skate with a Cop.'

The event, taking place at the Clark Gillies Arena in Dix Hills, aims to build positive relationships between law enforcement and the community.

The event is open to all ages, and offers free skate rentals. It runs from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

This initiative serves as a unique opportunity for locals to engage with officers in a friendly setting, fostering mutual understanding and community engagement.
