Shoreline stabilization project breaks ground at Tanner Park in Copiague

The town of Babylon says the project will be complete within a few weeks.

A shoreline stabilization project has begun at Tanner Park in Copiague.
The project includes a nearly 400-foot rock retaining wall, more than 400 feet of coir logs to prevent erosion and planting vegetation.
The town of Babylon says the project will be complete within a few weeks.
