Shirley man pleads guilty to murder, setting victim's body on fire

Prosecutors say Peter Pendzinksi shot Nathanel Rodriguez, then drove to Shirley with the man's body in his passenger seat and then set him on fire.

A Shirley man pleaded guilty to murdering someone and then setting them on fire.

Peter Pendzinksi admitted to killing Nathanael Rodriguez in December 2020. Prosecutors say he shot Rodriguez, then drove to Shirley with the man's body in his passenger seat and then set him on fire.

Pendzinksi faces 18 years to life in prison when he is sentenced.
