Police say a Selden woman struck and killed a pedestrian overnight with her car and took off.
It happened early Sunday morning shortly before 1:30 a.m. in Selden.
Police say a driver reported seeing body and car parts on College Road north of Mooney Pond Road. They say 36-year-old Randolph King, of Selden, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police tell News 12 that they arrested 31-year-old Yeymi Sanchez-Guzman, who had damage to her car’s front end and windshield. She is charged with leaving the scene of a fatal accident.
News 12 is told she will be in court on Monday.
