A second Flagstar Bank robbery in the Babylon area is believed to have been done by the same man, Suffolk County police say.

Both robberies were performed in the same manner, with a man entering a Flagstar Bank and handing the teller a note that demanded cash and leaving.

The first robbery happened Monday at a Flagstar Bank on Montauk Highway, with the man leaving the bank into a waiting getaway car. The second robbery occurred Wednesday, this time at a Flagstar Bank on 1501 Deer Park Ave. in North Babylon.

The suspect is described by police as a thin, bald, white man in his mid-40s with graying facial hair. During Wednesday's robbery at 12:48 p.m., police say was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, black jacket with light-colored pants and black shoes.

Police are investigating both robberies and ask anyone with information to call the Major Case Unit at 631-852-6555.
