Police: Southampton School District buildings deemed safe following emailed bomb threats

The district received an email around 10:30 a.m. that multiple devices had been planted in the school and would go off at some point on Monday

All schools in the Southampton School District were evacuated Monday due to an emailed threat, school officials say.
The district received an email around 10:30 a.m. that multiple devices had been planted in the school and would go off at some point on Monday.
In a message sent home to parents, students from Southampton High School and Southampton Intermediate School were evacuated to the Southampton Fire House at 11:50 a.m.
Students at the Southampton Elementary School were evacuated to the Presbyterian Church at 12:20 p.m.
Police from the village and the town along with two K-9 units from state police searched all of the school buildings and no device was found.
At this point, all buildings were deemed to be safe.
