Authorities: Teen arrested for threat made against Murphy Junior HS on social media

They say he made the threats on social media stating that he was going to bring weapons to the school and harm students and faculty.

Suffolk County police say they have arrested a 14-year-old teen after he made a threat against Murphy Junior High School in Stony Brook.
They say he made the threats on social media stating that he was going to bring weapons to the school and harm students and faculty.
They added no weapons were found in his home and that was taken to Stony Brook University Hospital for evaluation.
The teen was charged with making a terrorist threat and arraigned at Family Court in Central Islip.
