School board appoints acting principal for Ward Melville HS

16ds agoThe Three Village Central School Board voted to appoint an acting principal for Ward Melville High School.
This comes after the district announced Tuesday that Principal William Bernhard was put on “administrative reassignment.”
The board voted to approve Dr. Paul Gold as acting principal, along with a salary for him.
Once they approved the appointment of Gold, the board voted to go back into executive session.
Board members refused to answer any other questions regarding the reassignment.
