Emily Zheng is an All-Conference and All-County racewalker. She competed at the state championship, the Nike Indoor National Championships and the New Balance Outdoor Nationals. She competes in every racewalk, including the 5000 meters.

She's a member of the Pre-Med Club and founded the Dentistry Club. She's also interned for two local dentists and wants to pursue a career as an orthodontist.

She also established "School The World: East Meadow", a club that donates school supplies and raised money to help build libraries for Central American students.

She is the salutatorian with a 98 unweighted GPA. She's also a National Merit Commended Scholar.
