West Hempstead High School senior Eduardo Leon Lotero is an all-conference volleyball player who helped lead the Rams to a conference championship.

Lotero, who moved to the United States from Colombia just three years ago, also has a 4.0 GPA, writes for the school newspaper and is president of the Honor Society.
