John Glenn High School senior Davin Li is this week’s winner of the News 12 Scholar Athlete award sponsored by Bethpage Federal Credit Union.
Davin is a track and soccer star for John Glenn. He’s also an amazing violin player who takes AP classes on his own for fun.
He is the Suffolk County champ in the 200 meters and qualified for the state meet in that event and the 100 meters event. That All-County speed makes him a dominant soccer defender. He is the captain of the team that won the county title this week.
Along with the athletics, Davin is the high school’s concert master and made the All-State orchestra.
He studies quantum computing and his 99 GPA makes him the valedictorian.
