A 12-year-old in Sayreville accomplished quite a feat in the world of jiujitsu.
Anderson Campos Jr. has earned the No. 1 ranking in the sport, based on a combination of his weight and age.
Only in sixth grade, Campos Jr. says jiujitsu has been his hobby since he was 7 years old.
Campos Jr. recently won gold in the European championships in Portugal.
Pound for pound, the International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation also has Campos Jr. as fifth in the world.
