Superstorm Sandy survivors were treated to a Thanksgiving meal today, compliments of the Coral House.

Tess Brunetti and her family were among the Sandy survivors who had Thanksgiving at the Coral House.

"I'm so grateful, kind of, for this storm because I don't think I would've seen so much generosity come from everyone as I have this past year," she says.

Sandy damaged or destroyed about 50,000 Long Island homes, leaving thousands of families to struggle, rebuild and reclaim a sense of normalcy in their lives.
