Sailboat overturns in Peconic Bay, woman rescued

Emergency crews got a call from the woman on Monday after her Sunfish sailboat capsized in the bay near Robbins Island.

Police say a woman had to be rescued after her sailboat overturned in the Peconic Bay.
Emergency crews got a call from the woman on Monday after her Sunfish sailboat capsized in the bay near Robbins Island.
Marine units from Southampton and Suffolk police as well as the Coast Guard responded.
Units were able to get the 56-year-old from Georgia out of the water.
The woman is expected to be OK.
