Police are searching for a suspect responsible for killing a young man in Hempstead.
Authorities say the victim has been identified as Robert Brown, 16, of Westbury.
Officers responded to a 911 call just before midnight Friday at 245 Bennett Ave.
Upon their arrival, police say they found Brown with a gunshot wound.
Brown was rushed to a hospital where he was pronounced dead just after 2 a.m. Saturday.
