News 12’s Elisa DiStefano is in a field of
flowers for this week’s “Road Trip: Close to Home” at
Rottkamp’s Sunflower Maze
in Baiting Hollow.
Sunflowers of all different
colors can be seen through the three acres of paths near Bee Keeper Boulevard.
There are over 60,000
sunflowers in bloom during this time of the season.
Now through the end of July
is considered peak time, but the flowers will be in bloom through mid-September
if the weather permits.
Sunflower picking is not
allowed, but they are available for purchase.
