The Republican National Committee opened of a specialized Hispanic community center in Cortlandt Manor on Sunday.
The unveiling attracted hundreds to the opening of the RNC Hispanic Community Center.
Political notables threw their support behind the party's newest venture. The center is said to be the first of its kind in Westchester County.
"By creating this outreach center here, we are saying to all communities, 'We welcome you. We want you to be part of the Republican Party. We want you to be able to succeed and achieve your dreams, your hopes, your vision for your future and that of your family. And we want you to have all of the economic opportunities that America has to offer,'" said Rep. Mike Lawler.
The center will offer services like job training, health and medical assistance, and money management.
The center is open Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with a varying schedule on weekends.
